April 27, 2001 - Yesterday was "take your child to work" day. Heather and I had an eventful day we will both remember for a long time. Read all about it!

April 22, 2001 - I got beat up at work this weekend. I had the ER and it was without a doubt one of the busiest I've experienced in a long time. My feet and legs are sore from being on my feet so much. I need to go out to Dave's house Tuesday and work on his computer. His machine is acting up and I wanted to do a clean install. Hopefully I can get it done in a few hours (I'm hoping to go fly our kites in the late morning).

April 15, 2001 - We had a great day yesterday. We hooked up with Dave and Nancy and their kids at the Rainforest Cafe and had quite a dinner to celebrate Heather's birthday. Thanks, guys, we had a lot of fun. Heather had her sleep-over Friday night. It was quite the experience for Mary Ann. I had taken the opportunity to go to a computer LAN party at a workmate's home and didn't get home until around 10:30. I had no desire to hang with five 13 year old girls all night, and so Mary Ann had the honor. I don't know how to describe the ordeal except that it was so much fun for her, she was calling me at 9 PM to "get home NOW!!!" :)

April 13, 2001 - Happy Birthday, Heather!!!

April 10, 2001 - I had finally received all the new components of my new computer and got it up and running tonight. I found this good deal for an upgrade in one of the catalogs I received and decided to order it. I had just enough time to put it together before we went out to dinner. Mary Ann had a $25 coupon she received at work and we had a great supper at Cuchina Cuchina.

April 9, 2001 - I got through the weekend, but I sure feel beat up. Looonnnnggg days at work!! Heather is having a big sleep-over on Friday for her birthday. I took the day off from work, but I am conveniently going to a computer LAN party (hanging with 5-10 teenage girls is not what I want to do).

April 1, 2001 - I got some overtime today at work. That daylight savings time is tough, though. We went to EMP (Experience Music Project) at Seattle Center yesterday. What a great museum. I won't go into much detail here, but you can read all about our experience in the above link. Let's just say, "WE ROCKED THE HOUSE"
