What's up with us (in pictures and stories):
Heather had a pretty good year. She slowly improved her school work as she was finishing 6th grade, and she has stepped it up this fall in 7th grade. She enjoyed dance last spring and performed wonderfully in her summer dance recital.
She is still our little girl, but she is becoming a beautiful young woman in front of our eyes. She is also much happier this year and it is being reflected in her attitude and behavior.
She has become very active at school, participating as volunteer staff for an after school program call "Lighthouse", and she is in choir. Unfortunately, due to an ear abscess that required hospitalization this fall, she missed out on dance and probably won't be back in the program until next spring.
We are very proud of her and look forward to all the great things she will accomplish this year.
